We Highly Recommend Tim Pease for RV Repairs Click to add your comment We belong to Yahoo!'s 'LifeWithALazyDazeRV" forum. Its members offer valuable information, tips and help for Lazy Daze owners, Lazy Daze wanabees, ect. We've run across the name of Tim Pease from time to time. Each time we open a post about Mr. Pease it is so full of compliments that one MIGHT wonder where all these compliments are coming from. Today we found out. Our Lazy Daze's toilet has never retained water in the bowl since we purchased it last Spring. Over the months Kathleen has been going bonkers over that toilet. Lately we also noticed a definite leak. Several other matters that definitely needed attention. Wh agreed our Lazy Daze needed the attention of a good mechanic, so we thought we'd just go up to the Mother Ship (Lazy Daze factory) and have the work done. Then we kept reading about "Tim Pease" on the Forum - repairman extraordinaire, and Paul contacted him. We could have him come to El Centro to make the repairs, or we could drive up to Pomona and meet where Tim would perform the repairs at a local KOA RV Park. We like to get on the road as often as possible. So when Kathleen had a doctor appointment in La Mesa, it was the perfect time to trot up to Pomona after the Dr visit, to pay our respects to Mr Pease. Well, it turns out that Kathleen's doctor was sick the day of the appointment, so we just drove on up to Pomona where we finally met Tim Pease. When we've heard about something or someone as "great" - all too often our assessment has not agreed with the rave reviews. Tim was different! Tim Pease used to work for Lazy Daze. He is now in business for himself, and what a boon for us! He met us at the Pamona KOA, checked our Lazy Daze for parts he'd need for the repairs, picked them up and the following day (today) he was here at 8:00 am, ready for work. His professionalism, knowledge, patience and willingness to help us understand what he was doing, how we could in future do some of the same ourselves, simply blew us away. He fixed Mr Toilet (as our friend George would say), did all the repairs and fixes we had listed and impressed us with his knowledge and ability. Tim is not a "know it all" and readily suggests other agencies who can best handle certain problems. For example, he contacted the Lazy Daze factory to set-up an appointment for them to add a step to our Lazy Daze (that had been damaged and removed by the previous owner). After a long conversation with the factory Tim felt he could have done this but he felt the factory would be able to install the step quicker and at a lower cost than if he did it. All we have read about Mr. Pease was confirmed in his visit to us. We highly and heartily recommend this fine gentleman to anyone who has a motor home - regardless of the make. If he isn't comfortable in working on your rig, he does not hesitate to recommend someone else - though I can attest to the truth that he can work on almost any rig. He'll do it at your convenience, at your place or some where else (your call). This has been a most satisfying trip for us, and we feel lucky to finally meet Mr Tim Pease! | "NO DEAL BASICALLY means that if we can't find a solution that wold benefit us both, we agree to disagree agreeably--No Deal. No expectations have been created, no performance contracts established. I don't hire you or we don't take on a particular assignment together because it's obvious that our values or our goals are going in opposite directions. It is so much better to realize this up front instead of downstream when expectations have been created and both parties have been disillusioned. When you have No Deal as an option in your mind, you feel liberated because you have no need to manipulate people, to push your own agenda, to drive for what you want. You can be open. You can really try to understand the deeper issues underlying the positions." (9/9) |
